7-Eleven Stores Pty. Ltd. is an Australian company privately owned by the Withers/Barlow family. The company develops and franchises 7-Eleven stores in Australia under license from 7-Eleven Inc. of Dallas, Texas. The first 7-Eleven store opened in Australia in August 1977, meaning the 7-Eleven brand has been known and loved in the Australian market for 33 years.

Store Numbers
As at June 2011, 7-Eleven operates 480 stores throughout Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland. Approximately half of these stores sell fuel in addition to the traditional convenience merchandise offer.
